These are my last pics before bringing the painting in to church. In my sleep-deprived delirium, I didn’t think to snap a final pic. I turns out they were hoping I’d bring a bunch of paintings, not just one measly one, but I guess I’m not that prolific an artist yet!

It ended up grossing $85 (Winnie’s estimation), which was super encouraging! I’ll be interested in trying to do more stuff like this soon!

Work In Progress

December 11, 2008

I’m donating a painting to OCM’s fundraising dinner this Sunday. I was flattered to have this work “commissioned”, and just hope to be able to give glory to God and not mess this up!

I’ve also decided to document the progress on this page.

Here is the first step. In the hours before work on Monday, I went to Chinatown and bought some art supplies, as well as snapping some i-phone pictures of OCM. I composited the images here.

Painting in progress.  Not liking how my washes are turning out, at this point, I’m going to start on a second attempt.

In the City

July 4, 2007

Another doodle made when I should have been doing my work. Oh vell.

Based on one or more people I know in NYC.

HGC 07 T-shirt.

June 29, 2007

Here’s a little preview of the HGC 07 T-Shirt. Much thanx to Euge, Ellen and Manni for the support, patience and input.

The Front: The campers get the same thing but the “STAFF” stamp isn’t there.

The Back: At first it was just the guy, and I was a little concerned about being too gender biased. Others agreed.

Under Construction

March 15, 2007

This site will soon come into its own as a repository for  objects of creativity as well as nuggets of wisdom.  Not unlike a toilet.
